QUALIFICATIONS OF APPRAISER
Cindy Fletcher
STERLING
EQUINE APPRAISALS
Background
and Experience:
Cindy Fletcher was bitten by
the horse bug at the tender age of four while living in New
Braunfels, Texas. Selecting young prospects for training, Cindy
developed her eye for evaluating conformation and movement. As a
Youth competitor, she rode Arabians and three-gaited American
Saddlebreds. She also competed in saddle seat equitation.
Now an Adult Amateur, she
competes in dressage with her American Warmblood gelding, Fantom’s
Storm. The pair are working to earn a United States Dressage
Federation bronze medal. Cindy has participated in dressage clinics
with Christopher Hickey, Michael Bragdell and David Wightman. She is
also the proud owner of a two year old gelding by Davidoff Hit, out
of a Rubinstein mare, and has high hopes for his future dressage
career.
Cindy earned her MA degree in
composition and rhetoric in 2003 and taught three years of college
composition. Her MA degree helped her develop tremendous research
skills, which she utilizes as a junior appraiser for Sterling Equine
Appraisals. She currently works for a federal agency and also
teaches online courses for the University of Phoenix.
